Biography

Ms. Phiefer is a seasoned litigator with over 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of complex commercial litigation, including commercial and residential foreclosure, commercial and consumer collections, landlord/tenant litigation, administrative law, consumer defense, property tax appeals, and land use law.  While a consumer defense attorney at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, Ms. Phiefer  defended indigent consumer debtors in mortgage foreclosure actions as well as medical and credit card collections cases.  Ms. Phiefer  has extensive court experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in trials, arbitration hearings, and all forms of motion practice in the Law and Chancery Divisions as well as the New Jersey Tax Court.

During law school, Ms. Phiefer  wrote a student article that was published in the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Journal from 1994 through 1995.
